A new series from realist painter Michael Pyrdsa, combines elements of realism, trompe l'oeil and geometric abstraction brings the viewer into the life sized world of linear perspective.

Michael Pyrdsa uses the art of illusion to deceive the viewer into questioning the material reality of the object. Some shadows are painted, some are real, changing with the lighting in the room.

These larger than life enhanced doodles, come to new depths in 3-Dimensional sculptural paintings. Each piece is finished with Windsor & Newton oil paints atop maple or birch luan, sealed with a pigmented shellac and gesso coating.
